Spring 2024 Fashion Trends

Spring 2024 Fashion Trends

As fall 2023 unfolds and we embrace the Fall season filled with cute thigh high boots, trench coats, pumpkin spiced lattes and layered ensembles, it's never too early to anticipate the upcoming spring 2024 fashion trends. We are now creating some takeaways from runways of this season's fashion month. Although here at Femour we don't focus on trends per-se, this article has incorporated a sneak peek into what will likely dominate wardrobes in the coming season, encouraging you to stay ahead of the fashion curve.

Sheer Thrill

The fashion industry's current fascination with sheer fabrics is evident, particularly as we transition to a lighter with the arrival of spring. Designers are offering diverse options for incorporating sheer elements into outfits. Whether it's a semi-sheer pencil skirt paired thoughtfully with a cable-knit sweater or sheer overlay dresses the trend invites individuals to embrace transparency as a captivating addition to their ensembles.

90's in '24

The fashion landscape is currently embracing a '90s revival by incorporating a contemporary approach to minimalism, emphasizing clean lines and modern details. Designers have showcase elevated '90s-inspired elements like high square necklines, refreshed suiting inspiration, and the bubble maxi skirt.

Not So Bridal

In 2024, the fashion runways are embracing the era of "alternative brides", following the anti-bride trend. Designers like Sandy Liang, Weiderhoft, and Altuzarra are showcasing short, unconventional bridal looks that would serve for a mutlitude of occasions. For those seeking a fashion-forward bridal ensemble, the suggestion is to opt for a more casual party dress paired with a longer veil or a distinctive birdcage veil. We love this trend as it is perfect for those brunch dates that we all LOVE. There is nothing like a bridal look paired with a pretty cocktail!

Capri or Capri's?

Unexpectedly gracing this season's runways, capri pants emerged as a surprising trend, spotted at shows by Tory Burch, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Retrofête, Blumarine, and No. 21. Suggesting a potential shift for spring, these capri pants are anticipated to offer a more feminine and delicate alternative to the beloved trousers in our wardrobes.
